This week, during our online Pilates sessions, we are working on improving rib cage mobility at the back of the body and opening up the bottoms of the lungs. We discussed how this is important at all times but especially now with Covid-19 that can impact people's lungs.
We worked through some protocols to help expand your lungs' posterior (back) capacity and felt the difference before and after. As a bonus, the rib cage mobility and breathing exercises helped us feel much more grounded through our feet!
